beep beep ooc draft

2022-04-11T10:45:58Z

Following the train's recent answering session, some nerds have gotten together with the big idea of wanting to help the train. There's the question of what's going on with the train's missing memories surrounding what happened to its crew, and helping the train has always been difficult. Nobody understands what makes the train tick, and how can you help the train when you can't get to its engine room?

You access a backdoor with permission from the train, and have it show you through files so that you can try to decipher exactly how it works - and invite everyone to come join in to help.

SIDE PROJECT

An idea will be to offer energy to the train to potentially help it, but it will be cagey about this. However, making a battery to store energy that can be used in the future would be good - if for the train, or for void tears. Tidus is interested in this after speaking with Edge, and a project is a project! If anyone has ideas for this, feel free to share them!

[draft for art month]

2021-08-22T15:39:28Z

Starting in the new IC month, sparing mission time and anything that comes up thanks to train shenanigans, an Arts Extravaganza will be held, all in hopes to encourage people to vote for the art car. ICly promoted over the network in the end of Merriment (by who), a schedule will be put together.

Clocks with a simple visual interface are going to be placed around the train: mainly, the Dining Car, Standard Coach, Games, and Library. They look loosely like this, and with activities set around one of the 'times' (Sports, Second Food, Third Food, Mop&Bucket...or what have you).

If anyone would be up for making better clocks, please @ Tidus.

Throughout the month, there will be activities planned - and with room for people to add to them! We're not going to make a real schedule, so instead, imagine these are more ICly organised. But some of the activities planned, are...

..and hopefully, more! It doesn't have to strictly stay in the realm of what people imagine an arts carriage will have, but to include other activities to enjoy. But also, please vote art car.

Some people have been approached to help and to run classes for different activities, but for ease, if people could use the below form to sign-up just to say what their character would be interested in doing, that would help in submitting this event proper. A log can be made, but it'll also be an activity taking place that others can mess with in their own logs too, and say they're getting invovled with:

Who: THE LADS LADS LADS (1 prompt open to everyone on the train, rest is closed to lads night gang: Taiki, Inigo, Tidus, Lan Sizhui, Wen Sizhui, Dennis, Lea, Quatre, Senku, Gen, Seto, Yugi
Where: 1st prompt anywhere, the rest in fancy meeting room
When: Llama 18 (June 4-5)
What: Time for a hang out with some lads that's also lowkey a birthday party. For two guys whose birthday it is not. You don't make the rules.
Warnings: nothing, this is a party for soft boys

[ GLAZED CUPCAKE FOR ALL; who are not lads or too old ]

Today is a special day, even though one would say it's technically not. But Tidus, as he does, has decided that today is the birthday of Taiki and Inigo, and this has led to a rather curious sight around the train... of the three boys carrying around vegan glazed cupcakes. With sprinkles.

Well, some of them with sprinkles. The others have names written on them by first time ice-name writers, which is sure to be a beautiful sight for those who receive them.

But before they may be close inspected, there's a call made by the guy in front of the trio: Tidus, using his forever loud mouth to make an announcement through every carriage they enter with people:

"Heeey-ey! Freshly made cupcakes for people who want 'em! Give Inigo and Taiki here a happy birthday and get a cupcake! It's their birthday present to the rest of the train!"

Compared to the blonde loudmouth, the two darker-haired boys look far more embarrassed.

( Note: Those with CR with Inigo and Taiki, expect a cupcake with the iced writing. )

[game]: voidtreckerexpress
[fandom]: Final Fantasy / Dissidia
[game's current cast]: Edge (IV), Reno (VII), Tidus (X), Lightning (XIII/Duodecim), Elidibus & 2 XIV OCs, Noctis, Prompto, (XV)
[who I play]: Tidus
[wanted]: Cecil, Kain, Rosa, Rydia (IV), Tseng, Rude, Rufus (VII), Auron, Rikku, Jecht (X), Serah, Snow, Sazh, Hope, Vanille, Fang (XIII/-2/LR), Gladio, Ignis (XV), Firion, Cecil, Tifa, Jecht (with Dissidia memories)
[game info]: Navigation - Taken List - Gameplay

Voidtreckers is a game where characters are forcibly recruited as Voidtreckers, inter-dimensional heroes needed on world-saving missions across multiple planets with varying problems. On arrival, your character is assigned to one of four teams, each with their own objectives come mission time. Nobody knows why this happens or how they're picked, but they're stuck together whether they like it or not.

At least there's a spa.

AC is two proofs of 5 comments each per month, with the option of receiving bonuses for additional AC challenges that will allow your character to earn the in-game currency: points. It's medium-sized, very backtag-friendly, with AU and CRAU are allowed and encouraged.

Game time is 1 IC day:2 OOC days. Missions last 1 OOC month and have 3 logs (start - ongoing - finale), and people are encouraged to take on what they can, with ongoing considered optional. Non-mission months are far more relaxed with a single event, usually taking place on the train.

Characters can earn back most personal belongings and also any items from their world or possibly others, and any crafting and teaching of skills is encouraged to help with train life and mission life.

Apps are already closed this month, but the test drive usually goes up around the 15th, with reserves opening on the 18th. Apps open on 22nd. It's very poor timing for enablemeplz, always.

"You've been dreaming a long time, haven't you?"

"I'm grateful."

ABOUT

Upbeat, simple, and appearing easygoing, Tidus prefers focusing on the positives or searching for the best outcome, whether or not the odds are stacked against him. He can be prone to emotional reactions and doesn't like being no unless he can see the sense in it, depending on how strongly he feels about whatever is involved.

He can be stubborn in proving himself despite better sense thanks to his pride, stemming from a poor childhood that still affects him to this day.

A DREAM: Created by the fayth to keep up the illusion of a life long gone, Tidus functions as a human being would, but is nothing more than a dream—a being made by magic. Any with the ability to read spirits/auras may be able to tell this.
